In March of 2008 over ten entrepreneurs and members of Black Business Space, a benefit of the National Black Business Trade Association, came together to develop a format where we could showcase and tour artists of the Black Business Value Tour while creating opportunities for the supporting businesses. Also, a core element was to showcase core business and personal values that seem to be missing because of the perceived non-committal anonymity of the internet. VALUE.HONOR.COMMITMENT.COURTESY are some values that have fell by the wayside that we need to be reawakened to.
Currently there are 11 foundation working sponsors that make the Black Business Space Value tour possible: The Master Griot Project, eBiz Marketing, Individual Expressions, National Black Business Trade Association, MBL Records, Optimus Entertainment, Oral Buffet, Trendsetters To Trendsetters Magazine, NotUrMommasNews, Citylights Software, and Big Fish Productions.
